Almost 58K air traffic controllers competing for FAA jobs

Nearly 58,000 air traffic controllers are vying for 1,500 positions available through the Federal Aviation Administration, with the application process now closed. Candidates who are selected will go to a training center in Oklahoma City before being stationed at a US airport.
