If you were unemployed last year, already filed your taxes, and are now worried you need to amend them in order to take advantage of the new tax break on employment insurance provided by the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill, don’t be. Yahoo Finance reports that IRS commissioner Charles Rettig told a congressional committee that the change will be handled automatically, something the IRS hopes to announce soon.
