Although she has struggled with anorexia nervosa for many years, Shania was only recently diagnosed. Earlier intervention and prevention could have helped prevent years of physical and psychological suffering that now hinder her ability to live a normal teenage life. But living outside the Perth metro area, Shania's options for specialised treatment are very limited. |
