Voters in San Francisco have approved Proposition L, otherwise known as the "Overpaid Executive Tax," in a bid to tackle pay inequity. Any company trading in the city that has an executive who is paid 100 times more than their "typical local worker" will pay an extra 0.1% on their business taxes, rising to a potential 0.6% for each factor of 100.
