McDonald's reaches corporate pay parity goal

McDonald's announced it has achieved corporate pay parity across its 39,000 company-owned restaurants, which translates to women being paid 99.16% of what men do. "Over the past 18 months, we've worked together to create a future where equality, fairness and opportunity aren't just goals, but the lived experience of every single person in our communities," said Heidi Capozzi, McDonald's global chief people officer.

Citigroup has implemented a one-hour break from noon to 1 p.m. each day that is to be kept clear of video meetings and cut hour-long meetings down to 45 minutes to free up more time for employees during the workday.
