If you're creating anything new in wealth management, it likely requires some convincing of your company's leadership to support the new venture. 

This could be through creating a different title for yourself or developing a new strategy within an existing, traditional executive role. For technology innovators like Brooke Juniper, the new CEO of TIFIN's AI investment platform Sage, and Carson Group's new chief strategy officer, Dani Fava, there were lessons learned through both strategies to climb up to the C-suite. 

"I kept finding myself meeting a company, and I'd convince them to create a role for me. And they would bring me in under that new role and it was successful," Fava said. "But there was always something sort of missing from that."
