NEW CHRONICLE REPORT
Supporting Students in Distress

Before the pandemic, and even more so since Covid struck, colleges have put a lot of effort into student peer support, suicide prevention, wellness education, and self-care. While these wellness programs are helping many students be resilient, there are those who are still suffering. Whether there are concerns about safety, readjusting to the rigors of more in-person instruction, or reacclimating to socializing amid the awkwardness of masking, counseling-center directors and other clinicians are seeing a significant increase in anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

Building Students' Resilience dives deep into current mental-health challenges facing students and providesguidance for how your staff and faculty can best support their resilience and well-being.
