Quick tip of the dayYou spent at least a hundred bucks on a pair of Apple AirPods … and then you lose one. If this happens when you’re out and about, there’s a good chance you’ll need to pony up $70 for a replacement. What about at home? I lose mine more often than I’d like to admit. Luckily, AirPods are easy to find with this simple trick: Open the Find My app on your iPhone and tap the devices tab. If your wayward AirPod still has power and is within Bluetooth range, it should show up on the list with the location.Tap on Play Sound and start listening for the AirPods to make a noise. It’ll get louder over a two-minute period. Once you’ve found the missing one, just tap Stop.If both AirPods are inside the charging case, they won’t play a sound. That’s when you’ll have to rely on the mapped location that shows up in your app.🎵 Get more out of your tiny sound system: 9 clever Apple AirPods tricks. |

AND FINALLY ...Disney just invented a real, working lightsaber. That's right: You could be a Jedi — or even a Sith. Disney Parks Chairman Josh D'Amaro whipped out a retractable lightsaber after an April 8 presentation, the Verge reports. Sadly, there's no video evidence, though fans — but a VR developer animated a 2018 patent for a glowing sword. You’ve got to see this. Depending on Disney’s generosity, you could get your hands on your own, personal lightsaber! (Just make sure to stay on the light side, okay? 😉) |
