June 3, 2022 Greetings from Canada! My family and I are finally back in Toronto after being gone for an unimaginable 37 months. We used to come every three months but the birth of our daughter and then the pandemic kept us away.

With all of the delays and cancelations this week, we got so lucky ... our trip couldn't have been any smoother. We flew out of New York from LaGuardia's new Terminal B and I never thought I would say this but it's now one of my new favorite airport terminals. Los Angeles to New York
If you’ve been following along with our travels, then you know my family and I flew from Los Angeles to New York’s JFK on American Airlines (AA) on May 21st. Here’s that trip report.

We spent the first night at the Sonesta White Plains after cashing in 22,000 Sonesta Travel Pass points. The following night was spent at the Delamar in Greenwich, Connecticut which is near to my dad’s senior home. We then we headed to Rhode Island for four nights, staying at the Watch Hill Inn and the Weekapaug Inn.

Continuing with the theme of bad news ... Earlier this month, three American tourists were found dead at a Sandals resort on the island of Exuma in the Bahamas. While the cause of death was not immediately clear, some medical experts expressed their belief that the cause was carbon monoxide poisoning.
