Photograph your pets like a pro this festive season

We get it: no animal on earth is as cute as your own pet. So isn't it frustrating when, despite your best efforts, your photographs fail to capture the full extent of their beauty, charm and exuberance?

Luckily, expert help is available in the form of Embassy Gardens' digital Festive Photography Pawtrait Workshop, in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Embassy Gardens — the vibrant riverside neighbourhood in Nine Elms, London — is pet-friendly with a high number of pet licenses, and so has partnered with award-winning photographer David Loftus to present this crash course in pet photography, just in time for Christmas.

Want to snap your furry family member like a pro? Join David via Zoom at 3pm on Saturday 12 December. Tickets cost £10 per person and all proceeds will be matched by Embassy Gardens and donated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Click below to get yours straight away, or read on to find out more about the workshop.

Learn From The Best

Jamie Oliver, Pippa Middleton, Rachel Khoo — these are just some of the stars with whom David has worked. The international acclaimed photographer's stripped-back, fuss-free style has won him numerous awards. Now he's ready to share some of his secrets so you can make your pet the star of the festive season using solely what's available to you at home.
Festive Fun With A Twist

From getting to grips with pet fancy dress to working with natural light, David will reveal everything you need to know to create a purr-fect festive portrait. Your four-legged friend is encouraged to join for the workshop, and you'll even have the chance to create your very own digital Christmas card, so you can spread festive cheer while showing off your newfound skills to your loved ones.
A Chance To Win Big

Share your final image from the workshop on Instagram —  remember to follow and tag @embassygardens and @davidloftus —  and you could get your hands on a fantastic prize. David will pick his favourite shot and the pet-owner behind the lens wins a £500 voucher to spend at any of Embassy Gardens' fabulous shops and restaurants. But that's not all: the winner also gets an additional pawtrait, this time captured by David himself.
All For A Good Cause

All the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which cares for and rehomes thousands of vulnerable animals each year. What's more, Embassy Gardens, which is fast becoming one of the most pet-friendly places to live in London, has pledged to match every donation.
