Proposition 22 has passed in California, letting companies such as Lyft, Uber and Instacart bypass a state law that could have required them to reclassify workers.

Voters in Florida have approved Amendment 2 to raise the state's minimum hourly wage from $8.56 to $15 by 2026. The minimum hourly wage will be raised to $10 in 2021 and increased by $1 per year until 2026.
