CBS Sports Fantasy Football Today

Projections are widely available in the Fantasy Football industry. However, given that the NFL changes so much every year, how accurate can projections really be? For example, while some projections hinted that Lamar Jackson had upside in 2019, none of his projections compared to his record-breaking season that won Fantasy leagues. Given the unpredictability of the league, there are certain aspects of projections that we can take advantage of as Fantasy managers. Play volume, pass and run splits, and touches can be relied upon, but they should all be taken with a grain of salt given injuries, personnel rollover and scheme updates that occur weekly. Ben Gretch evaluates his 2019 projections and draws conclusions for this upcoming season.

Plus, on the FFT podcast, the crew drafted the biggest upside team and the highest floor team from each draft slot in order to determine whether it's better to draft for ceiling or floor.
