As the new President of MPR, I'm delighted that my first email to you — one of our incredible Minnesota Public Radio listeners — is a thank you. I also wanted to share a bit about myself and what MPR has meant to me.
When I first moved to Minnesota in the summer of 1993, MPR played a central role in helping me connect with Minnesota — the place that would become home for my family and me. Now, as it is for many of you, MPR is a soundtrack running through my days and nights. It’s become part of me, which is why I’m a proud member. I hope you’re as proud as I am to be part of the community that makes MPR possible.
