Corn harvest is 60% complete, the good stuff is in the bin and the remainder is 26% or higher moisture and 50 pound or lower test weight. Not sure yet if we will try combine this yet this fall or wait for spring 2020. We left 30% of our sugar beets in the field. The beets will not get harvested. Overall the worst crop I have had in 47 years of farming. Not to be too pessimistic but 2020 planting looks to be a real challenge because of very wet soil conditions. There will most likely be lots of Prevent Plant.
