How to Use Hakan-Ashi Reversals for Spot-On Intraday Entries

If you’re waiting for a VWAP pullback but price never gets there, you need a plan B — and that’s where Hakan-Ashi (HA) reversals come in.
They’re simple, visual and effective for catching shallow pullbacks without forcing entries.
The key is context.
HA reversals are only valid when price is trending clearly above or below the VWAP. If the market is chopping through VWAP, this setup is off the table. But in a trend, they offer a powerful secondary trigger.
