Last week, we heard that Apple is reportedly planning to begin mass production of a 20.3-inch, foldable hybrid MacBook-iPad in 2025, followed by a foldable iPhone a year later. We now hear new claims that the company is turning to rival Samsung for the display technology.

DigiTimes claimed that Apple and Samsung have inked a deal for a Samsung-supplied display for an Apple-made foldable, PhoneArena reported. However, it isn’t currently clear if the deal is linked to the hybrid device, a foldable iPhone, or both.
