LSU anthem response: LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward has responded to Gov. Jeff Landry’s demand that athletes at Louisiana’s public universities be present when the national anthem is played at sporting events. LSU, Woodward said in a carefully worded statement, is dedicated to the flag, the anthem and the U.S.
Hall of Famers: Louisiana’s Political Hall of Fame will induct a new class tonight. The roster is led by one name that has loomed large over the state for the past eight years, Tyle Bridges writes.
