More positives: Let your clients know that mortgage forbearance may not be as much of a financial risk as initially thought. The Federal Housing Finance Agency said Monday that borrowers with loans backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac won’t be required to repay missed payments in a lump sump if they choose a forbearance option. The FHFA is encouraging other lenders to also adopt alternative repayment policies.
