Call for comments on the proposed amendment of the approval restrictions for the active substance Prosulfuron in GB. HSE has received a dossier from Syngenta Crop Protection AG for an amendment to the approval of the following active substance/uses: Substance: Prosulfuron aherbicidal active substance for the control of a range of broadleaf and grass weeds in maize and sweet corn. The dossier is for the amendment of approval of this substance in GB to remove the current restriction under retained Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, which limits use to a maximum total dose of 20 grams active substance per hectare every third year on the same field. The assessment was performed by HSE's Chemicals Regulation Division.
Any interested third parties are invited to comment on the content and conclusions of the Draft Assessment Report (DAR) or share any relevant information. Comments can be submitted by any member of the public or interested party.
