Assessing non-dietary exposure to PPPs in NI In January 2022, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published the 2022 EFSA Exposure Guidance which is an update to the guidance on non-dietary exposure assessment of PPPs. All applications submitted for authorisation in NI should be conducted using the updated guidance where appropriate from 1 January 2023. Assessing non-dietary exposure to PPPs in GB Deadline: 20 February 2023 HSE has launched a survey on the proposal to adopt new non-dietary exposure guidance in GB. In GB the non-dietary exposure assessment of PPPs authorised for professional use is currently conducted according to the 2014 EFSA Exposure Guidance. This guidance will continue to apply in GB until HSE advises otherwise. HSE is considering whether it is appropriate to adopt the updated 2022 EFSA Exposure Guidance for relevant GB assessments. To help inform the final decision on adoption, we are seeking stakeholders views via a survey. Visit the survey, where you can submit your comments to HSE.
