AM Thema vom 20.03.2017 Liebe Leserinnen und Leser, Huawei geht auf Nummer sicher: Das neue Flaggschiff-Smartphone P10 hebt sich äußerlich wenig vom Vorgängermodell P9 ab, nur der Fingerabdrucksensor sitzt erstmals bei einem Huawei-Smartphone vorne unter dem Display. Das Display-Glas weist laut Hersteller bewusst einen geringen Schutz gegen Fingerabdrücke auf, um zuverlässiges Funktionieren des Scanners zu gewährleisten. Während Samsung und LG auf vergleichsweise kompakte Smartphones mit großen Bildschirmen setzen, nutzt Huawei nicht möglichst viel Fläche der Vorderseite für das Display. Zudem verzichtet der chinesische Hersteller beim neuen Vorzeigemodell auf Features wie USB C oder Wasserschutz für das Gehäuse. Besitzer eines Huawei P9 animiert das neue Gerät daher nicht unbedingt zu einem Umstieg, trotz der leicht verbesserten Leica-Dual-Kamera mit optischem Bildstabilisator und Bokeh-Funktion. Für alle anderen ist das Huawei P10 mit der Testnote "sehr gut" (91 Prozent) eine echte Kaufempfehlung. Das neue Top-Smartphone von Huawei ist jetzt im Fachhandel und bei Mobilfunkbetreibern für Preise ab 599 Euro ohne Vertrag erhältlich. Juni für Preise zwischen 280 und 420 Euro ohne Vertrag in den Handel kommen. Das teurere Gerät punktet mit einem an Front- und Rückseite mit leicht gewölbtem Glas bedeckten und von einem Metallrahmen umzogenen Gehäuse, wahlweise 64 GB oder 128 GB internem Speicher und einer Hauptkamera mit Werten, die an die Knipse des Samsung Galaxy S7 erinnern: eine Auflösung von 12 Megapixel, eine Pixelgröße von 1,4 µm, die Blendengröße f/1.8 und Dual-Pixel-Autofokus-Technologie. Statt eines optischen Bildstabilisators bietet die Kamera des BQ Aquaris X Pro Multi Image Prozessing für Aufnahmen unter schlechten Lichtverhältnissen: Dabei nimmt die Kamera automatisch kontinuierlich zehn Bilder pro Sekunde auf und speichert diese jeweils kurzzeitig. Löst der Nutzer die Kamera aus, werden die besten sechs Aufnahmen vor und nach dem Auslösen zu einem Bild kombiniert, um die Bildqualität zu erhöhen. Das klingt nach einer spannender Funktion. Mit einem ausführlichen Test des BQ Aquaris X Pro können wir noch nicht aufwarten, aber mit ersten Eindrücken nach dem Hands-on. Update auf Android 7.1.1 erreicht BQ Aquaris X5 Plus In der kommenden Woche steht der Launch des Samsung Galaxy S8 (Plus) an, und täglich sickern neue Informationen zum neuen Spitzensmartphone der Südkoreaner durch: Werbematerialien aus dem Heimatmarkt des Herstellers kündigen einen Verkaufsstart des Geräts im April an, Benchmarks weisen wieder auf verschiedene Modelle mit Exynos- oder Snapdragon-Prozessor hin, und angeblich ermöglicht die Kamera des Galaxy S8 (Plus) durch Aufnahmen mit 1.000 Bildern pro Sekunde Superzeitlupen wie die Sony-Smartphones Xperia XZs und Xperia XZ Premium. Offenbar muss Samsung aber auch schon vor dem Launch des Galaxy S8 (Plus) die erste Schlappe hinnehmen: Der Fingerabdrucksensor des Geräts wird nicht in das Display integriert sein, sondern an der Rückseite des Smartphones sitzen. Laut einem Insider lieferte der im Bildschirm sitzende Scanner des Lieferanten Synaptics im Tests noch keine zufriedenstellenden Ergebnisse. So wird wohl Apple in diesem Jahr das erste Smartphone mit einem direkt im Bildschirm verbauten Fingerabdrucksensor herausbringen. So sieht Grace UX auf dem Galaxy S8 (Plus) aus Während Samsung auf dem Launch-Event am 29. März kaum noch überraschen kann, gibt es knapp drei Wochen nach der Vorstellung des LG G6 auf dem Mobile World Congress noch jede Menge offene Fragen zum Konkurrenzmodell. Wann erscheint das in Korea bereits erhältliche LG G6 in Deutschland? Wie viel wird es kosten? Und welche technische Ausstattung bringt es mit? Wieder einmal scheint der koreanische Hersteller seine Fans in Deutschland stiefmütterlich zu behandeln. Händlerinformationen sprechen von einem Release im April und einem Verkaufspreis von 750 Euro, außerdem wird Gerüchten zufolge das "deutsche" LG G6 technisch weniger spektakulär als das im Heimatmarkt des Herstellers verfügbare Smartphone-Modell sein. G4 und V10: Vom Bootloop betroffene Kunden verklagen LG Intelligentere Notifications, dynamische App-Icons, eine automatisierte Zwischenablage bei Eingabe eines "Hotwords" sowie ein Bild-in-Bild-Modus: Android 8 bringt offenbar Features aufs Smartphone, die manche als längst überfällig ansehen. Mit der Bild-in-Bild-Funktion könnten Nutzer beispielsweise Videos oder Videochats als kleines Fenster über einer anderen App einblenden lassen. Dynamische App-Icons können dagegen kleinen Benachrichtigungs-Zahlen sein, die an einer App haften, wenn es in der Anwendung Neuigkeiten gibt, oder Symbole, die sich wie der Google Kalender je nach Tag, Tageszeit oder aufgrund anderer Ereignisse selbständig verändern.
