" ________________________________________________ A Bonehead award has been reported by Rock Eric Locelvira, in jail in Chicago, Illinois, USA Oakland, Calif. shooter who killed flower delivery man arrested in Chicago A man wanted for killing a flower delivery man in Oakland, California has been arrested in Chicago. Eric Locelvira is accused of shooting and killing Matthew Gaidos at the end of June. Chris Folse was in the area and he says he heard "One really loud bang immediately followed by victim screaming 'help me!'" Folse narrowly escaped being in the line of fire himself. He was out walking his dog around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. When he entered his apartment building, he heard a gunshot. "It happened really quick. The altercation down the street. Apparently there was a disagreement between two people and it escalated really fast," he said. Surveillance video shows Locelvira walking some dogs, then arguing with Gaidos right before the shooting. Officials said the victim was delivering flowers and made a comment to a man passing by. The verbal exchange ended with the victim hurling the vase and the suspect firing a gun. ___________________________________________________ Kim was telling her friend how she gets her son out of bed in the morning. "I just open his door and toss the cat on his bed. He sleeps with his dog." __________________________________________________ By the time the sailor pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken. "You've got to have a room somewhere," he pleaded with a proprietor, "or just a bed, I don't care where." "Well, I do have a double room with one occupant -- an Air Force guy," admitted the manager, "and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you." "No problem," the tired Navy man assured him, "I'll take it." The next morning the sailor came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. "How'd you sleep?" asked the manager. "Never better." The manager was impressed. "No problem with the other guy snoring?" "Nope, I shut him up in no time," said the Navy guy. "How'd you manage that?" asked the manager. "He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room," the sailor explained. "I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and said, 'Goodnight, beautiful,' and he sat up all night watching me." ___________________________________________________ Hyacinth Macaw ___________________________________________________ Two women came before wise King Solomon, dragging between them a young man. "This young man agreed to marry my daughter," said one. "No! He agreed to marry MY daughter," said the other. And so they haggled before the King, until he called for silence. "Bring me my biggest sword," said Solomon, "and I shall hew the young man in half. Each of you shall receive a half." "Sounds good to me," said the first lady. But the other woman said, "Oh Sire, do not spill innocent blood. Let the other woman's daughter marry him." The wise king did not hesitate a moment. "The young man must marry the first woman's daughter," he proclaimed. "But she was willing to hew him in two!" exclaimed the second woman. "Indeed," said wise King Solomon. "That shows she is the TRUE mother-in-law." ___________________________________________________ From:Janice Re: Complete deleting Dear Webby First of all, I want to thank you for the patience you show when dealing with computer illiterates like myself. I am learning but it is slow. I've been reading about your problem-solving skills for years now. They are to be admired! When I first started reading your answers, I was clueless. Now I understand some. 1. When you say, "dump it fast and THOROUGHLY", I understand the "fast", but the "THOROUGHLY," tells me there is more to deleting than I have been doing. Is there more? 2. At this moment, I am having editing problems with my mouse. Sometimes when I block, it shows I am blocking but then it removes the blocking. Also when I go to put it into my document, it doesn't put it where I positioned it to go. Is the second problem my mouse or W10? My beloved W7 finally gave up the ghost and I couldn't find another in this area. I hope you can explain one or both problems. Sincerely Janice Dear Janice! Yes, there is indeed more to deleting bad stuff. When you delete something, it is put into the "Recycle Bin", just in case you change your mind and want to give the ex-boyfriend another chance. While in the recycle bin, the stuff is still on your machine, and some viruses know how to get in there. So, every now and then, go into the .recycle bin and dump it all. Re your mouse: Most likely it is a Logitech mouse. Don't waste your time with their totally incompetent support. They murdered the ability to use W7, but it backfired and occasionally sabotages W10 as well. DUH! Just take a big hammer and put that mouse out of YOUR misery, and replace it with a Microsoft mouse. Logitech can no longer handle the side buttons for copy/paste reliably. HAMMER TIME. Have Fun! DearWebby ___________________________________________________________ "I have to tell the truth," a young man said to his new girlfriend. "While we've been dating, I've been secretly seeing a psychiatrist." "Don't worry about it," the girl told her boyfriend. "I've been secretly seeing a lawyer and a car salesman." ___________________________________________________ If you can spare a coin, PLEASE hit PayPal with it! _____________________________________________________ Joe went to a strip mall the other day.
