Today's Bonehead Award: California Identity thief nailed with face recognition camera at Walmart __________________________________________ A group of 31 women formed a screeching topless human chain in London to protest against climate change on International Womens Day. Members of the climate change alarmist group Extinction Rebellion (XR) took off their shirts on Waterloo Bridge, blocking traffic in a protest against the supposedly disparate impact that climate change has on women. The protestors painted slogans on their chests such as climate rape and climate murder. They briefly screeched for the photographers, but left before the cops arrived. __________________________________________ Thanks to Tamara for sending this picture: A Pike jumped out of the water likely chasing prey and got stuck in a branch and died. Now, a bird has made a nest in its mouth. One of the most interesting things I've seen. __________________________________________ A woman very much enjoys singing, but she has a voice that would send even alley cats running. In fact, when she practices while her husband is home, he leaves the house and stands on the sidewalk in front. Curious, one day she asks him why, every time she sings, he takes up his position on the sidewalk. Well, my dear, he says, I just want to make sure the neighbors dont think that Im beating you. ___________________________________________________ An INTERNATIONAL BONEHEAD AWARD has been earned by Lucas Dos Reis Laurindo, 26, in jail Florida

Illegal Alien Issued Ticket for Careless Driving After Killing Mother, Two Children and Grandmother Near Walt Disney World

An illegal alien was cited with a ticket for careless driving after he rear-ended a van and nearly killed an entire family spanning three generations near Disney in Florida. The driver of a truck that killed a mother, two of her children and the grandmother was in the US illegally, according to authorities. Two other children, their father and grandfather who were also in the minivan survived. But after killing 4 people, Lucas Dos Reis Laurindo was only cited with a ticket, the strongest charge that could be made under Florida law. After being issued the ticket, the Brazil national made arrangements to return home.
DearWebby's Tech Support Pits From: Alice Re: What is Mint? Dear Webby, What is Linux Mint? Alice Dear Alice Unlike Windows, which is limited to Microsoft, Linux is free. The original "Red Had", like a MAGA hat, but it says LINUX, is still available. It is the official, Deluxe, Linux, and has support included. Pretty well the same, but without Support, is Cent-OS. You have probably seen pictures of server farms with rows upon rows of water cooled cabinets housing Millions of computers. They all run CentOS. We use CentOS on the Webby Servers. Then there are countless versions, that are customized for consumers. Some, like the MINT, that Ginger uses and loves, use a user interface like Windows XP, but with all the modern security features. Ginger's computer is an old VISTA machine, that handles MINT quite nicely. Microsoft-DELL-HP-ACER hates that, of course. That is why W10 sandbags your W7 computer and sabotages it, so that you will toss it out and buy a brand new W10 machine. Instead, you could run Linux MINT on it, or any of the other versions of Linux. There are about as many flavors availaable, as there a re cars. Ask around in your area and find a Penguin (Linux user), and ask what they like. Most of them are like recent religious converts, and will love to convert you. Instant friends! As far as I am concerned, it makes little difference which flavor of Linux you use. Just use whatever feels comfortable. Have FUN! DearWebby

There was the husband, for example, who was finishing breakfast when his wife said, "I bet you don't know what day this is." "Of course I do," he answered indignantly, going out the door to the office. At 10 a.m., the doorbell rang, and when the woman opened the door, she was handed a box containing a dozen long- stemmed red roses. At 1 p.m., a foil-wrapped, two-pound box of her favorite chocolates arrived. Later, a boutique delivered a designer dress. The woman couldn't wait for her husband to come home. "First the flowers, then the chocolates, and then the dress!" she exclaimed. "I've never had a more wonderful Groundhog Day in my life!" _____________________________________________ After she wakes up one morning, a woman tells her husband: "I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine's Day. What do you think it means?" "You'll know tonight," the husband replies. That evening, he comes home with a package and gives it to his wife. Delighted, she rips off the wrapping paper and opens the box. Inside she finds a book: "The Meaning of Dreams." ____________________________________________ A reclusive rancher looking for a way to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary is looking for advice. Enjoying breakfast in a northern Arizona cafe, he and a longtime friend turn to how things used to be in "the good old days." "But about this 50th anniversary, Roy," his friend says. "Are you really gonna do something special?" "Yup, we sure are," Roy replies. "For our 25th anniversary, I took Bea to Tucson. For our 50th, I'll go down there and get her. ____________________________________________
