Meet the community

Good evening, Baltimore, It's a busy week in the local tech community. Here's a look at a few events coming up:

  • Waterfront Tech Series returns with a Smart City focus on Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 3:30-6 p.m. at Fogo de Chao. Panelists from BGE, Baltimore City, Project Waves and the The Maryland Center for Computing Education will be speaking.
  • Anchor Ventures provides a look at UpSurge Baltimore's work to make Baltimore a destination tech city through the lens of equitech. Join the virtual event at 4 p.m. on Oct. 21.
  • The WELL, aka the Women's Entrepreneurship Leadership Lab, celebrates its third anniversary empowering Black women founders in its first in-person networking since the pandemic began on Oct. 21. Head to Layers Loft from 6-8 p.m.
