Francine pours it on Louisiana

Hurricane Francine made landfall Wednesday evening after area residents and governments braced for the storm's impact, preparing for the worst but hoping for something better. High winds and heavy rain whipped through southeast Louisiana as the storm tracked through on its way north, leaving thousands without power.

Football and Francine: LSU's game at South Carolina on Saturday is expected to go on as scheduled despite Hurricane Francine raking across Louisiana on Wednesday. It isn't the first time weather has been a backdrop for a game between the Tigers and Gamecocks.
