Instead of our usual Tuesday newsletter, I thought it more appropriate to recognize those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. It's heartbreaking to watch the devastation of those affected by the storm and its aftermath.
We are praying for you and sending SO MUCH LOVE to you and yours during this very difficult time.
My heart aches for my hometown, but I know the resilience of Texans--we come together and make things happen. So, while many of us may not be able to get into Houston to help right now, we can send help! Here are a few easy ideas:
-- Make a donation directly to the Hurricane Harvey relief, via the Houston Food Bank
-- Visit ANY H-E-B, Central Market or Joe V's Smart Shop across Texas to support victims through donations of $1, $3 or $5 added to your grocery bill
-- Text "HARVEY" to 90999 to make a $10 donation to American Red Cross
-- Text "HarveyRelief17" to 41444 to give to the United Way Harvey Relief Fund
My friends at Texas Monthly also put together an awesome list of ways to help kids, animals, people with medical needs, the homeless, those displaced and much more.
Stay safe out there, everyone! You're in our prayers!
