Hurricane Relief Benefit with

Area favorite and Wilmington's own "Entertainer Extraordinaire", El Jaye Johnson brings together Wilmington's most talented artists contributing and donating their musical skills to help ease the community's many needs post-hurricane Florence with the joy of music and donating all proceeds to hurricane relief. El Jaye and the Port City All-Stars always have great grooves with high energy dynamism, captivating audiences with musical genres from Smooth Jazz, Funk, Soul, Motown, Blues, Reggae and more.

Georgia O'Keeffe and "The Intangible Thing"

Drawing upon the life and career of the American modernist painter Georgia O'Keeffe, this live-streamed lecture with the NC Museum of Art explores the artist's lifelong expression of her personal vision through the language of color and simplified forms. Lecture from NCMA is held in as a part of their exhibition in Raleigh, The Beyond: Georgia O'Keeffe and Contemporary Art.
The CAM Cafe will be open and available for lunch afterward.

Community Lantern Workshop

Participants of all ages are invited to join guest artist Abby Spangel Perry for a lantern making workshop. Be inspired by artist Grainger McKoy's large-scale version of "Recovery" and explore the luminous quality of paper with Abby Spangel Perry. All participants are also encouraged to add their touch to our large community collaborative lantern which will be displayed during CAM's Illumination Exhibition opening in December.
Free event. No pre-registration necessary. Gallery admission not included.
