  The storm, which had briefly reached Category 5 status on Monday, made landfall near Isla Del Bosque, Sinaloa, with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph, the National Hurricane Center said on Twitter late Tuesday. The hurricane was forecast to produce an 'extremely dangerous' storm surge along portions of the coast of southwestern Mexico in southern Sinaloa and Nayarit, the hurricane center said.
