The Hustler Casino in Gardena, California is set to host an exciting series of poker tournaments this holiday season. The Holiday Poker Classic Tournament Series is already underway (running through Jan. 13), with 13 total tournaments and $750,000 in guaranteed prize money to be awarded.

There will be plenty of great tournaments to play from Dec. 20 – Jan. 3, with several boasting sizable guarantees up to $50,000. The marquee event of the series, though, is undeniably event 12. The $500,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em event features a $375 buy-in, with $100,000 guaranteed for first place.
The tournament sports 16 starting flights, with one at noon and a second at 5:00 p.m. each day from Jan. 4 – 11. Players will start with 20,000 in chips, with 12 percent of the field making the money and 10 percent moving on to day 2. Any players that qualify for day 2 multiple times will receive $2,500 for each stack removed from play, with only their largest stack going forward.

This event features the popular Quantum Tournaments structure, which affords players the opportunity to buy directly into day 2 of the event for $2,700. Players that exercise this option will start with 200,000 in chips, with blinds of 1,500-3,000 and a big blind ante of 3,000. Day 2 begins at noon on Jan. 12.
