Get all my courses for the price of oneThis month, I am retiring ten years’ worth of work. It feels amazing… and terrifying. If you want to know the story, keep reading. If you want to skip all that and get to the good stuff (although the story is pretty good), click the button or just keep scrolling down to What You Get.
The storyWhen I started teaching online courses in 2012, most of my students had never taken an online course before. To be honest, I hadn’t, either. It was the Wild West of online learning. In the first few months of my new endeavor as a teacher, over 1000 people signed up for my first course, which was amazing. Each person paid me hundreds of dollars to learn what I knew. The money was life-changing. That same year, I published my first two books within a few months of each other. After growing up lower middle class, never making a household income of more than $20,000 per year, and then becoming a missionary and raising my own meager salary, I made over $150,000 in my first six months as an entrepreneur. It was a whirlwind. I also had never done anything like this before. What if I failed? In 2013, I turned 30 and left my full-time position at a nonprofit organization the very next day. I went full-time as an author and course creator and began figuring out how to actually run a business, which was something I had never done before. I also had to figure out what to do with all these people who were signing up for my courses. Those first 1000 students turned into over 30,000 clients and customers, people who bought my books (I published five under my own name) and signed up for one of my courses. The whole thing grew into a community of writers, artists, and creators who wanted to succeed with their creative work. I hired employees, joined business masterminds, and spent tens of thousands of dollars a year on coaches and resources to help guide me in becoming a better business owner. I did all this without stopping to think if it was what I wanted or even needed. Success was available to me, so I went for it. Our team grew. We launched a conference. I started multiple coaching groups and masterminds, all driven by my experience and knowledge. The stress of running a business, trying to be present to my family, wondering what my purpose in life was—or if I even had one—was hard. And everyone around me seemed to be doing the same thing, sharing the same complaints, struggling with the same challenges. It felt necessary and inescapable. As the cognitive dissonance grew, I began to wonder if there may not be another way to make it as a writer and creator. Just because I could do it one way, did that mean I should? And just because I had, did I have to continue? Meanwhile, I was juggling some pretty deep existential questions—“If getting everything I thought I wanted didn’t make me happy, what will?”—and a marriage that was ending. I started to make some shifts in both my personal and professional life—getting a divorce, ending my conference and mastermind groups, and starting a ghostwriting agency—but I kept teaching courses. Recently, however, I’ve decided to retire that last one, for several important reasons. In light of a new podcast and newsletter, as well as a new season in my life and work, it just feels right. But you deserve a deeper explanation. Why am I doing this?First, I like fresh starts. The six courses I’ve taught over the years represent a decade’s worth of work. I am proud of that work. But a lot has changed in the world of online marketing since then. The things that worked a decade ago don’t work now—at least some things. When I started out as an online teacher, I was just a writer sharing what I was learning about writing and publishing while I was doing it. I’ve since grown and changed a lot. I am not a bestselling author, but an entrepreneur, and a person who likes to make stuff. I’d like to keep sharing my insights, but more as creator. I’d like what I offer the world to reflect not just what I’ve done but what I’m doing. My philosophy on online learning has changed dramatically (more on that later), and if I were to update these courses today, I’d teach them completely differently. That’s not to say there isn’t a lot of value in them. I’d just want to approach those topics and my proposed solutions—including even how to teach a course—from a very different perspective. So why not just start over? Well, that’s exactly what I plan to do. I love blank slates. Fresh starts. A wide open canvas on which to begin again. How it worksSo let’s start over. What’s to come? Who knows? (Well, I do, but I’ll tell you that another time.) Before that, though, I want to give you a chance to get all of my previous courses that you haven’t had the chance to take. These courses range from $197 to over $1000. There are six of them in total (I have two short courses that correspond to my books, and I’m going to leave them out of the vault for now), totaling $2100 in value. And so I’m going to do something crazy. At least I think it’s crazy, as does every person I’ve told: Starting today, you can get ALL of my courses on writing, creativity, and online marketing for the price of the cheapest one. That’s right. Pay one payment of $197 and get access to ALL my courses. Here’s how it works (pretty simple but worth explaining): 1. Click here to pay a one-time fee. You can use a credit card, debit card, or PayPal. 2. Check your email to confirm payment. 3. Log in to my online school to get instant access to all the courses. You can do this at any time, as much as you’d like, whenever you want. What you get
Why do it this way?Simply put: It’s the easiest way to give you access to anything that might be useful to you without your having to pick and choose which ones work for you and don’t. If you’ve got one or a few of my courses, you can still purchase the bundle to get anything that’s missing. Again, whether it’s a single course or all of them, you’re going to get a great deal. You can also consider this an investment in the next thing I’m creating. I want to “sunset” these courses in a way that honors the work my team and I have done over the years, as well as the investment and trust of an entire community. Thank you for your support, and I can’t wait to share what’s next. But for now, let’s make sure you don’t miss anything before it all goes away. The fine printHere’s a little more detail and hopefully an answer to all the “what about” scenarios: This deal is nonrefundable. This is all-or-nothing. You’re going to get six courses for the price of one and instant access to all videos, transcripts, and past community call recordings. This is a one-time offer. If you have recently purchased one of my courses, you can’t exchange it for this deal. That was then, this is now. What you can do is buy any courses you may be missing by getting the whole bundle. If you have any questions about this, you can shoot my team an email at jeff@goinswriter.com. My colleague Sandy and I will review your email and make the best decision we can. This includes limited support. Many of my courses come with built-in communities and support systems. We are retiring these groups, so they won’t be a part of this offer. But you will have email access and support in the case that you can’t log in or access any of your materials. You will get lifetime access to all this material. Once you purchase the bundle, you’ll get every course and all associated material. These include on-demand videos and downloadable resources. Once we take these programs off the market, you will continue to have access to the material. In the event that we delete these programs entirely, we would give you an opportunity to download anything you want. But there are currently no plans to do that.Do this before it’s too lateThis offer is good until midnight pacific on August 31, 2021. It’s not good with any other offer and is not retroactive. Have a question? Email us. I’d prefer to not get too pedantic about this. If you want in, click the link and buy the bundle. If not, no worries. But at the end of this month, all this material is going in the vault. Will it ever come out again? I don’t know. I have no plans to do that right now. I’m moving on to new stuff, so I won’t be dwelling on this previous work. If you don’t want to miss out, you need to act now. Frankly speaking, it’s a good deal, the best we’ve ever offered, and soon it’ll be gone. No pressure. Just want you to know if you’ve ever thought about getting one of my courses, or maybe you’re missing one in the whole “collection,” this is your chance to get it.
Thank you for the support over the years—for your attention, business, and encouragement. I can’t wait to take the next step with you. With love and gratitude, Jeff Read in browser | Unsubscribe | Update your profile | 6300 Tower Circle #242, Franklin, TN 37067 |
