Hi, Do

I sure hope your first few weeks of 2019 have been great! I'm sure looking forward to spring... and gardening... and warmth! :)

Quick announcement... Do you have a pressure canner on your shelf, but don’t know how to use it? You aren’t alone! Over the years, so many people have told me that they’re afraid of their pressure canners--scared of doing something wrong or making their canner explode! So I finally decided to do something about it.

If you’re scared of your pressure canner, be watching your inbox. I have something very special just for you coming up in the first week of March, that will take the fear out of pressure canning for good.

In the meantime... Here are some canning tips for you.

Canning Meat - When you are canning meat products remember, it is not as hard as it may seem! Really, it is super easy. Don't be intimidated.

Sterilizing Jars - Traditionally jars have been boiled and "sterilized" before filling and processing. Many ask if it’s necessary if you’re boiled jars anyway.

SimplyCanning.com answers this and more!

Starting Seeds Indoor - I'ts time to start the process if you start your seeds early. Here is a guest post from Karen, who starts her Tomatoes and Peppers in January.
