A short note of gratitude No Images? Click here Dear friend, Happy Thanksgiving! As I look back over the past year, there are so many things that I’m thankful for. In the midst of a fallen, chaotic culture, Christians across the country have stood up to engage the public square with the gospel through their work for life, religious liberty, courage, and more. Here are a few things I’m especially thankful for: The work of staff and volunteers at crisis pregnancy centers who work tirelessly to care for pregnant women and save unborn lives. This year, we donated three lifesaving ultrasound machines to centers in North Carolina, Arkansas, and Alabama through our Psalm 139 Project and Stand For Life. These ultrasound machines allow pregnant women to see the babies growing inside them and help give them a reason to choose life. Families who volunteer to foster children in need or go through the long, expensive process of adoption to give children a loving family. Our DC team worked with partners to ensure that faith-based organizations can continue serving vulnerable children and families. Adoption and foster care are challenging on the best days, and I’m thankful for every family who opens their hearts and home to children in need. The over 4,000 people who attended or watched the Caring Well Conference and almost 1,000 churches who are taking the Caring Well Challenge. If you are one of those people, thank you. I’m grateful for your commitment to taking the issue of sexual abuse seriously. We must not rest until all of our churches are safe for survivors and safe from abuse. We are thankful for the privilege of equipping and supporting Christians like you as you engage the public square with the gospel in your own communities. As we prepare for Giving Tuesday next week, we’re getting ready to do something completely different! We can’t wait to tell you more, so stay tuned. We hope you have a happy thanksgiving!
