It was the mid-90s.
President Clinton…"The World Wide Web"…O.J.'s acquittal… you remember.
I was still new in the investment research world and had just come back from visiting a hedge fund.
I remember being so impressed by the firm.
They were masters at a highly unusual type of analysis.
A few years later, a young trader at the firm came up through the ranks.
Hired at 22, he received a rare type of certification and made millions for his firm.
At one point in his career, he was averaging a $155,000 profit per trade… and made $4.6 million in a single day!
