| Cahana Jewelry began by creating beautiful jewelry that could carry your wishes, prayers and affirmations close to your heart.
I would like to share with you today some of the values and work ethics that lies behind Cahana.

My jewelry is designed to help you. That is my starting point. Wether by creating room for your innermost dreams or with powerful crystals. This is the base of each of my jewelry. The design must always be simple in a sofisticated way. I try to make as clean lines as possible with small beautiful details. Coming from a danish upbringing this is what works for me.
All packaging are made in eco friendly, sustainable forrest materials. My jewelrybags are made from eco cotton and for sure you will not find plastic packaging anywhere near my jewelry.
All jewelry are being produced in the same factory in Jaipur. The way of thinking is to re-use and re-cycle and to minimize any waste and pollution and the factory is currently applying for an eco certification.
All jewelry, that is not sold, samples and fault of production is sent back and re-melted and re-cyckled in the production! The very small amounts of waste that comes out of this procedure are delivered to a government owned plant for safe destruction.
All silver/gold is purchased from Indian banks that has acquired it from the Indian government. The silver/gold mostly come from USA or Italy. No crystals or silver/gold is made by exploiting adults or made from child labour.
The owners provides their workers with the best conditions compared to the competitors and most of the workers have been there from when the factory opened. The work environment is of a great importance - both physical and mentally. The factory owners has a rule. The team over the individual, and when you enter the factory you can feel there is a good atmosphere.
I have been using the same factory from the beginning. We have learned from each others mistakes and we have grown together. I regard loyalty as one of the most important things when interacting in business. We need to trust each other and we need to be loyal to each other. For that reason you not only make good partnerships you also make friends and in the end the best products.
For that I also aim to give the best possible service. If you have a problem with my jewelry, I will do anything I can do fix it. I so strongly believe that this way of thinking will benefit both you and me in the long term. My partnerships with boutiques are also based on that. I work with some wonderful people out there where going that extra mile is just a part of their DNA.
