Atlas Air Worldwide posts $224 million profit on volume, revenue surge

Reflecting a 20% increase in volumes and a 17% rise in full-year revenues, Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings posted a $223.5 million net profit for 2017—a fivefold increase over the Purchase, New York-based air freight carrier’s $41.5 million net income for 2016. 

Lessor Avolon doubles revenue, reports $550 million 2017 profit

Dublin-based Avolon reported a $550 million profit for the year, a 59.4% rise over its $345 million profit after tax in 2016.
