With more than 700 changes to the ICD-10-CM code set taking effect October 1, it’s time to dive into how these changes influence code sequencing and payment. As value-based payment programs continue to proliferate, providers must ensure they’re coding to the highest degree of specificity to ensure accurate reimbursement and avoid penalties. During this 90-minute program, HCPro regulatory specialist Adrienne Commeree, CPC, CPMA, CCS, CEMC, CPIP, will take a comprehensive approach to explaining the additions, deletions, and revisions in the 2018 code update. She will review eye conditions, discuss code sequencing for the respiratory system, and explain the changes made to the diagnosis codes for heart conditions. This webinar will also cover the applicable anatomy and physiology for code specificity. |
