ICON DIPTYCH - VIRGIN MARY AND CHRIST THE TEACHER

This is a beautiful pair of Russian icons - Our Lady of Kazan and Christ the Teacher with bright embossed gold and silver foil ornamentation. The Russian text on Our Lady’s side reads: Most Holy Birthgiver of God save us and on Our Lord’s side it reads: Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner. The two icons are hinged together forming a diptych which can be easily displayed on a table, desk, nightstand, or prayer altar. Each side measures 5½”H x 4½”W.
