Hey, hey! So, last week we moved into our new house, and it was all kinds of chaos. The movers unloaded a truck full of stuff, we spent two nights in the new place, then headed for California—which is my kind of moving. ;) During our five-day stay in Los Angeles, I recorded an interview for the Minimalists (which will be dropping soon, so keep a lookout for that), we rented a car to drive through the mountains of Malibu, and then I treated my lady to a surprise concert of her favorite boy band. We ate good food, slept in, and saw a few friends and beautiful sites. I returned to a smattering of responsibilities and obligations and somehow had this strange peace about the whole thing. I love our new house and this life we get to create. This morning, I woke up to the sound of birds singing and sprinklers sprinkling before dawn. As I watched sun rays reflect off dew drops while sipping a hot coffee on my back patio, I was struck by how perfect a moment can be.
