It’s been a busy week over here in Tennessee. I found out on Tuesday that we have enough funds to close on the house. As you may have heard from a recent issue of the newsletter, this was not an “easy lift,” so to speak, and I wasn’t sure we could pull it off. Financing a home as a self-employed divorcee isn’t the easiest thing in the world, and yet with your support, we did it!

In other news, here’s what you missed this week:

• I had Ray Edwards on the podcast to talk about marketing, incurable diseases, and the mystery of belief. We talked about the book we’re writing together and what we are both learning from each other through this process.
• Speaking of Ray, he also recently had me on his podcast for a two-part interview about books: “My $150,000 Book Deal” and “From Big Idea to Bestseller.”
• Speaking of books, Ray and I are doing a live seminar in June for anyone who wants to learn how to write a book proposal that catches the attention of a major publisher. Learn more about it here.
• Speaking of attention, I riffed on all things marketing, branding, and belief with Mikhail Alfon on his OVERSHARING podcast. I sincerely enjoyed this conversation, and it includes some of the best stuff about what matters most to me these days. I hope you’ll check it out and enjoy it.
• And finally, Mark Savant had me on his show to discuss writing, blogging, and what it means to build an audience on the Internet today. It was fun to share my story, what I’ve learned since 2010, and what I would do differently if I were starting today.
