MTPConnect received $32M from the Australian Government for the Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) initiative, partners involved in the roll out include the VCCC alliance. Twenty-two recipients will share in more than $10M for VCA research grants, 18 fellowships were also awarded. Scientists and clinicians from around the world, including the University of Melbourne Centre for Cancer Research, have collaborated to create a comprehensive map of whole cancer genomes. The Global Cancer Atlas will improve understanding of cancer, early signs of cancer and how to treat it.
