Professor Andrew Roberts has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2020 Queens’s Birthday Honours, he is a scientist-clinician at WEHI, RMH and Peter Mac, as well as VCCC Research & Education Lead, Haematology and the Metcalf Chair of Leukaemia Research at UniMelb.

Australian Government announced $13.6M investment in clinical trials to find cancer treatments for melanoma, reproductive and gynaecological cancers and childhood brain cancer. The listing of Revlimid® (lenalidomide) on the PBS Highly Specialised Drugs Program is expanded, to allow use in combination with Velcade® (bortezomib) and dexamethasone for previously untreated multiple myeloma.

The Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network (VCCN) Telehealth Expert Group advocates the need to establish evidence-based, patient-centred and sustainable telehealth in cancer management.
