Victoria’s drop in breast cancer reporting has been published in regional and metro media outlets. Advocate groups urge people to see their doctor if any cancer symptoms present.

Researchers presenting at the European Association of Urology provided insights into diagnosis, treatment and prevention of prostate cancer, including a gene associated with an aggressive form of the disease, a new pair of agents that show effectiveness for precision diagnosis and treatment, and a ‘highly likely’ link with the human papillomavirus.

A single global methodology has been developed, using the Active Surveillance prostate cancer database, to identify which patients with prostate cancer are at risk of the disease developing and which patients can continue to safely delay treatment.
