Celebrate IDUS with the Let's Move Initiative

Let’s move is a global Olympic initiative to encourage the world to move. Launched in June this year it aims at creating a global movement which encourages people to allocate time for daily physical activity.

Research has found that 80% of young people are unable to reach the recommended level of daily activity for optimal mental and physical health.

FISU supports the Let’s move Initiative and the Olympic movement to inspire people to get active and simply make time for it.

So, from a 30-minute workout with iconic athletes to a grassroot initiatives around the world, LET’S MOVE!

WHAT YOU CAN DO ON 20 SEPTEMBER AND BEYOND:
Reach out to student-athletes and publish the following on social media accounts:

  1. Vlog style video or in person interview with student-athletes about why physical activity is an important part of their life, give examples, show lifestyle. This can be very simple and also done by the athletes themselves.
  2. Ask them to film a 30min workout video to support #LetsIDUS and #LetsMove Challenge and help people to be active. This video should be posted on the athlete's social media account and/or the NUSF social media accounts, and sent to FISU Media (media@fisu.net).

Mention @fisu, the athlete and the university when posting, and use the following hashtags: #LetsIDUS #LetsMove
