Dear Friends, The Middle East has descended into war. And persecuted Christians are paying the price. Many of them fled persecution in countries like Iraq, Iran, and Syria…and settled in Lebanon, where over 30% of its population professes faith in Christ. But now Lebanon, once a beacon of hope for persecuted Christians, is a warzone. |

And the lives of persecuted Christians are on the line. Tens of thousands lost everything overnight and are now on the run, fleeing…with nowhere to go. Now, as war sets in, this huge Christian population in Lebanon is at risk. At Help The Persecuted, we are asking ourselves: If we don’t go, who will? We have long had Field Ministers on the ground in Lebanon, and they are undeterred. We offered to help them evacuate the warzone, but they chose of their own accord to stay…to minister to the persecuted believers who have lost everything, once again…and to share the gospel with Muslim and Druze communities. |
Lebanon is the biggest hub of our ministry to persecuted Christians in the Middle East. Over the past two years, we have ministered to more than 60,000 people through our safe houses, our Seeds of Hope farm, our Pastoral Care Team, providing healthcare and Emergency Relief Kits, and our discipleship and evangelism ministry. When the Islamic terror group Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, Hezbollah, a terror group backed by Iran, started relentless daily attacks on northern Israel. We immediately opened up a War Refuge Center for the Christians being displaced… As of today, all of our safe houses and the War Refuge Center are completely full. There, these beleaguered believers have safe shelter—and receive wrap-around spiritual care and love from our brave Field Ministers. |

God has prepared us for such a time as this. We are in these dark, dangerous places—bringing safe shelter, food, hygiene essentials, medicines, and medical help...and the hope of Christ. Please join us in this effort to rescue Christians caught up in a warzone...to say that wicked Islamist extremism can never get the last word because our God is in control. |
- Offer immediate shelter and spiritual support to persecuted and vulnerable Christian families through growing our network of Safe Houses and expanding our War Refuge Center

- Grow and distribute more fresh produce than ever from our expanded Seeds of Hope farm to thousands of vulnerable people in local churches

Wicked Islamic extremism is trying to stamp out the light of the gospel in a country with one of the largest Christian populations in the Islamic World. It’s bringing waves and waves of destruction and devastation to those who are clinging to Christ. But together, we can do something about it. The light of the gospel will not be stamped out by terrorists. |

Please give, as generously and quickly as possible. Lives will be restored against the backdrop of wicked Islamic extremism, war, and destruction, shining the light of Christ to the least of these. On behalf of our Field Ministers, thank you for your tender heart for the persecuted as war rages on. We are so grateful for your generosity. |
