When I was still in school, I worked in a potato chip factory. I quickly learned that chips off the line were much better than those from a bag. Later, I learned that I could make them at home. Homemade chips are so much better than out of the bag!
The secret to making great, crispy potato chips at home is to cut them thin. Use a mandolin. If you don't have a mandolin, use a potato peeler.
