PEORIA -- The Peoria City Council might again permit legitimate massage businesses to operate among general retail and service outlets.

METAMORA -- Classes were postponed Monday at Metamora Township High School after at least 25 people were placed in quarantine because of COVID-19.Remote learning is to take place for the next two weeks as a result, it appears.

PEORIA -- Despite being in the news several times during their first week of school for possible or probable COVID-19 infections, the Dunlap School District superintendent says things went well and noted the district's low positivity rate.

PEORIA - Teacher Robin Tandeski asked for volunteers.

State officials announced Monday that a series of stricter regulations will be put in place this week in Will and Kankakee counties at restaurants, bars and casinos to slow the spread of COVID-19, after that region reached a threshold for positivity rate that triggers the move.
