PEORIA - The Peoria Civic Center is postponing all its ticketed events through May 1 because of the state's public health recommendations to cancel or postpone large-scale events.  Civic Center officials advise patrons to retain their tickets, since they will be valid for the rescheduled dates.

Public health officials announced 14 new cases of COVID-19 in Illinois - all but one of them in Cook County - on Friday, bringing the state's total number of positive cases to 46.
