Illinois reported 29 new cases of novel coronavirus on Sunday, COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 93 cases in 13 counties in the state.

PEORIA - The latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic are Illinois' state parks and wildlife areas, which were ordered closed on Sunday.

PEORIA - Following suit with nearly every other entity, the Peoria Park District has closed its doors in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

PEORIA - Heddington Oaks, the Peoria County-owned nursing home, has closed its doors to all volunteers and most visitors, the county announced in a news release Saturday.
