Changes to State Government COVID Restrictions | The State Government will ease some key COVID Circuit Breaker restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne. From this Friday 18 June the following operating conditions apply: - Removal of the 25km travel limit.
- Face coverings must be carried at all times, and must be worn indoors.
- Up to 50% of staff can return to office workplaces.
- Hairdressing, Beauty and Personal care can remove masks for services providing they maintain a density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm.
- Restaurants, Cafes and food courts can open for seated service only with a maximum patron cap of 150 people per venue and no more than 75 people indoors. Group sizes to a maximum of 10 people providing they maintain a density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm. (Venues can have up to 25 patrons before the density quotient applies)
- Gyms can open with a density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm.

Mandatory Use of The Victorian Government QR Code Service | The State Government has mandated that all businesses must use the Victorian Government QR Code Service and ensure customers check-in.
Pen and paper register must be available for people who do not have access to a smartphone or cannot use the QR Code Service to check in.

COVID Business Requirements | Make sure youâre adhering to the current COVID restrictions - All businesses must have an active, up-to-date COVIDSafe Plan.
- Keep accurate records and ensure your staff and visitors register their details for contact tracing.
- Every customer-facing business must use the free Victorian Government QR Code Service â¯to check in customers, workers and all other visitors.
- Download and display signage to remind people of the need to check in, and other safety measures.
- If you or your workers have even mild COVID symptoms, please get tested.
