In Pensacola, they are winning the war for young talent. Can Lafayette do the same?

Happy Friday morning, Acadiana. Let's get down to business real quick as you head into the weekend.

Coming to you again from Pensacola, Florida, as part of One Acadiana's Leadership Exchange trip, we take a look into numbers of how many people are moving to the Penscola area. Over a 12-month period, the increase in migration was so large that if it relied on only births and deaths, the city would have had a population loss.

Economic development, the newly elected mayor emphasized, has evolved into getting people to move here.
